Contra Vision Joins FESPA UK’s Waste Management Accreditation Scheme

We are excited to announce our participation in the FESPA UK Waste Management Accreditation Scheme, which now encompasses self-adhesive plastics and siliconized liners. This initiative represents a major advancement in sustainable waste management within the graphics industry, and we are proud to support this initiative.

The FESPA UK Waste Management Accreditation Scheme has transformed waste management practices, helping businesses to increase recycling rates, eliminate landfill usage, and achieve significant cost savings. The scheme provides comprehensive guidance and support, enabling businesses to effectively review and optimize their waste systems.

With the inclusion of self-adhesive vinyl and perforated window film there is now a viable route for our one way vision products to be recycled in the UK, this includes the following Contra Vision product ranges:

• Contra Vision® Campaign™ 
• Contra Vision® Performance™, including HD and AutoGraph
• Contra Vision® Advance™ (PVC Free)
• Contra Vision® Overlaminates
• Contra Vision® Privacy Window Films

Only Contra Vision® Replacement Liner is suitable for recycling under the scheme; unfortunately, their double Universal Liner is not.

By collecting any manufactures materials, we reduce the need for extra time spent segregating materials before collection.”

The Accreditation Scheme ensures accountability to businesses for waste produced, collected, and treated, and is assisting to improve their environmental position by accounting for the end-of-campaign waste taken back from customers. It’s great to see the Accreditation becoming a standard that businesses want to work to achieve.”
