Back in March 2022, the Grove Theater in Dunstable were holding performances of Soul Sisters: The Musical, a new soul musical that promises to take you on a journey of success, survival, and sisterhood. Naturally, the theater was looking to advertise the show through eye-catching window graphics to sell tickets.
The theater knew exactly what product they needed for these window graphics, so they got in contact with Johnsons Printers, who are based in Nantwich and already very familiar with Contra Vision products, to print and install the graphics for them.
As many shows in national theaters are tours, they are usually only in a certain venue for a short amount of time. This means the window graphics wouldn’t need to be on the window for very long which is why the client opted for Contra Vision Campaign White on Black in 40% transparency, which is part of our short-term range of products.
As they wanted the graphics on the front entrance of the theater, which would lead into the foyer, the client wanted to maintain as much light in the area as possible. Therefore, perforated window film is an ideal solution, as graphics can be printed on one side of the material while see-through a window can be maintained from the other side.
The window graphics were printed on an AGFA Anapurna UV-LED – 6 color procress and cut using a Acorta CAD-cut. Johnsons were also asked by the client how the removal of the Contra Vision window perf would be and they were happy to share that Contra Vision
