Marti Pellow & the Change + Check Choir Vehicle Graphics

The Change + Check campaign is a breast cancer awareness campaign founded by Helen Addis, a breast cancer survivor and producer for ITV’s The Lorraine Show. The campaign aims to raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer as well as advising people how to properly and regularly check your breasts for abnormalities.

The campaign has been running for six years now. It began with the distribution of stickers on changing room mirrors, then pamphlets delivered directly to homes across the UK, which reminded and gave advice on how to check your breasts.

The Challenge

30 years after it was originally released, Marti Pellow has teamed up with the Change + Check Choir to release a special rendition of his iconic single “Love Is All Around” to spread awareness of this campaign.

To promote the release of this new single, Marti Pellow hopped on a seriously groovy tour bus to make his way around the UK, with the hopes of getting the charity single to number 1 on the UK charts which they achieved by mid-October.

The Solution

This bus, emblazoned with the phrase “Love is All Around”, was wrapped by MW Graphics who are vinyl wrap specialists based in Hull. They used Contra Vision® Campaign White on Black in 30% transparency which was supplied by our UK distributor, William Smith.

This product is ideal for use on a short-term campaign like this where longevity on the window isn’t a requirement. This is because it offers the same high-quality features as our premium range of products, for a more economical price as it lasts on the window for up to 2 years. In comparison, our premium range has a on window lifetime of 3+ years.

This product also features our patented Grayliner technology, this creates a realistic background to show how the printed image will really look on a window. This enables accurate color matching to the original artwork which means the tendency to overcompensate with increased color saturation is reduced. This is an issue that can occur when using standard white liner products.
