Bus Wrap Huddersfield Town FC
When team buses travel the length and breadth of the UK, they offer fantastic opportunities to promote the club and the brand. While successfully promoting the brand is important, so is the safety and privacy of the players inside the bus.
The Challenge
A striking new vehicle wrap on the Huddersfield Town FC Team bus was recently unveiled and is sure to attract attention wherever it goes. The attention, however, will not result in any invasion of privacy for the travelling players and staff due to a superbly executed application of vinyl by the Stoke-on-Trent based printing company Graphix.
Graphix managed to apply 140 metres of solid vinyl and Contra Vision perforated film in just two days, but this is even more impressive when you notice the accuracy of color matching between the two different films.
The Solution
Contra Vision was chosen as the perfect solution to ensure accurate graphic reproduction and long-lasting performance. Graphix used Performance White on Black 40% (WBPAG40) together with an Optically Clear Overlaminate (CL50CY) which provides protection from abrasion and washing chemicals while preventing dirt and water from entering the perforated holes.
Getting the colors right on perforated window film can prove to be a challenge but Contra Vision’s Performance White on Black film is supplied on their patented Contra Vision® Grayliner™. This liner ensures printers can achieve the most accurate color matching result. The gray color, visible through the perforated holes, creates a realistic background to show how the printed image will really look on a window.
