Atrium transformation | University of Derby
Contra Vision® Campaign White on Black™ 40% was recently used by The University of Derby to improve both the functionality and aesthetics of its main atrium.
The Challenge
Spearheaded by the University’s Print Services Team, the goal was to create a safe working space for construction teams to operate in, whilst maintaining a safe and aesthetically appropriate environment for those passing through.
The installation aimed to create privacy for the workmen without limiting their visibility and access to light.
The Solution
Campaign White on Black is part of our standard range of perforated films. This great value range, offers market leading qualities for shorter term use, boasting a window lifetime of up to 2 years.
The University of Derby’s Print Services Team selected this particular product due to previous successful projects. They felt confident in it’s ability to combine strong visuals, privacy and impressive through vision.
Spanning five separate glass panels, the application process was smooth and efficient, with the full installation completed in only 90 minutes. The film not only served a practical purpose but also highlighted the university’s future plans, showcasing imagery related to upcoming facilities and academic departments.
