1982 The design of a one way vision glass walled squash court for the World Squash Championship.

1984 First of 30 Contra Vision® patents granted.
1985 Contra Vision Ltd founded.
1987 Contra Vision licensed to Avery Dennison in the USA. (North America and Western Europe)
1990 Contra Vision North America, Inc. incorporated.
1991 World’s first bus wrap* 
1993 The World's first digitally printed bus wrap**
1995 Contra Vision extends licensing to 3M Worldwide.

The Pan Pacific Hotel in New Zealand was the first brand to utilise this new advertising medium. The process involved shipping Contra Vision part processed material for Europe to be screen printed in New Zealand

Crystal Pepsi's bus wrap was printed by Super Graphics in California. The value and interest from advertisers and planners for this application continues today, with eye-catching and innovative designs worldwide.
