ASTM E162-09 Surface Flammability Rapid Transport testing

This report is a presentation of test results on a material submitted by Contra Vision North America, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia. The test was conducted in accordance with the ASTM International fire test response standard E162–09, Surface Flammability of Materials Using a Radiant Heat Energy Source. The method provides a laboratory procedure for measuring and comparing surface flammability of materials when exposed to a prescribed level of radiant heat energy.

ASTM E662-09 Density of Smoke Rapid Transport testing

This report is a presentation of results of a test for specific optical density of smoke on a material submitted for testing by Contra Vision North America, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia. The test was conducted in accordance with the ASTM International Standard Test Method E662–09, Specific Optical Density of Smoke Generated by Solid Materials.

This test is referred to as the smoke chamber and is similar to the method described in NFPA No. 258.

ASTM E 84-10 Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials

This report is a presentation of results of a surface flammability test on a material submitted by Contra Vision North America, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia.

The test was conducted in accordance with the ASTM International fire test response standard E84–10, Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials, sometimes referred to as the Steiner tunnel test. This test is applicable to exposed surfaces such as walls and ceilings. The test is conducted with the specimen in the ceiling position with the surface to be evaluated exposed face down to the ignition source. The ASTM E 84 test method is the technical equivalent of NFPA No. 255 and UL No. 723

476: Part 7:1997, obtained on specimens of a product and to provide an opinion of compliance with the requirements for a Class 0 surface, as defined in Approved Document B to the Building Regulations 2000.
