Silverstone the home of the British Grand Prix
The new state of the art Silverstone Wing at the home of the British Racing Drivers Club was a $43M investment designed to compete with the newer state of the art facilities at circuits like Abu Dhabi and Bahrain. The new building was designed by architect firm Populus the same team behind the Olympic Park in London and many other iconic sporting venues worldwide.
The Building is designed to be used for a variety of corporate events and Contra Vision® printed in grey and die cut was applied to the top of the building as an integral part of the design. Unlike solid graphics, the see-through nature of the Contra Vision® maintained a valuable view of the track at all times. Principle Graphics were responsible for the installation using Contra Vision® Performance™ and with individual letters at over 8ft in height they are hard to miss. See-through graphics are an ideal medium for signage, way finding and internal branding throughout a building.
