To promote stakeholders sponsorship of the Rugby Football World Cup taking place in New Zealand.
Omnigraphics is a specialist out-of-home digital print business who were tasked with providing promotional graphics relating to the Rugby Football World Cup for both clients.
The first, KPMG’s ‘Passionate Partner’ campaign was designed to reflect their role as sponsors of the event. As KPMG’s agency, Saatchi and Saatchi, asked Omnigraphics to develop an appropriate print solution which would reflect the scale of the event and the values of KPMG. The result was a stunning new façade on KPMG’s building using Contra Vision® Performance™.
Due to the building’s scale (it was comprised of 476 individual panels, 32.5 metres across and 16.5 metres high) the graphics were applied to the exterior of the glass by a team of abseilers. Client, agency and printer were all delighted with the result.
The second created for Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development was even more ambitious at 53m x 23m the largest seen in New Zealand. The strapline it carried, “The World’s Here to Play”, was the essence of a campaign made even more compelling by its location.
Both building wraps were printed onto Contra Vision® Performance™ 30% transparency perforated material specifically chosen to provide vibrancy and impact. The applications reflected the country's pride at hosting the event creating memorable additions to the Auckland cityscape.
